Homemade extension table

I just recieved this in my email  on how to make a extension table for your sewing machine. I tried to copy and paste but for some reason the pictures didn't show up so I'll just post the link.

Friday night sew-in

I did my sewing but didn't take a picture because I was going to do it in the morning before we went to my Dads, guess what we had a storm and lost power. I'll post my picture when we get home Sunday. This is my FNSI it is hard to see but I have finished the vase and the pineapple on the left. I have 2 more squares to go so I might be at this awhile. This is my first time doing hand applique.

On Friday – 08/20/10 - Get your house settled, put on your comfy jammies.. maybe make a cup of tea.. and sit down to work on some of those projects (or anything else that you want to work on.. maybe you want to knit.. or catch up on scrapbooking).

Then, sometime on Saturday - Make a post about what you worked on.. show us a picture or two on Flickr.

Slow month for me

I finally finished the July table runner that Maria Peagler designed for the Color of the Month program she has going on. It was a easy pattern and I had it sut out and sewn together and ready to quilt in a week but it took me forever to finish and I can only blame the hot weather we are having, I just don't have any energy. I can hardly wait for fall to arrive this year.
